| Abstract | The basic control scheme of Microgrid is reflected in this paper. The control techniques for the microsources and storage device when the microgrid operating in islanded mode are discussed based on the simulated model of the proposed Microgrid, the issues pertaining to island operation, power quality and dependability, voltage & frequency stability, installed storage capability including need of communication infrastructures at the time of choosing suitable control approach are presented with exploration of new challenges to face in future. |
