| Abstract | The purpose of this study is to investigate the transient stability of a SMIB system containing a mixed overhead-cable line affected by fault. The study will be conducted through a sensitivity analysis, which will be made varying the most significant parameters of the system and CCT will be taken as index of stability. Three study cases will be investigated. The analysis will be based on the time domain method and will be developed using the Power System Toolbox of Matlab/Simulink. |
