| Abstract | This paper provides vector modulation studies of three-phase three-level voltage and current inverters. We consider Space vector PWM technique seen that it allows the reduction of power losses due to switching actions by limiting the pulses duration. Multilevel converters offer the possibility of generating output voltages and drawing input currents with less-distorted waveforms and less-polluted harmonic spectrums. In the beginning, we established the mathematical models of the two converters. After that, we described the space vector modulation principle. Then, we applied this control strategy for launching the converters switching orders. To verify the proposed studies, we used numerical simulation, using MATLAB-SIMULINK programs, the results were satisfying. |
