| Abstract | We focus on the effect of the form of fuzzy membership functions, while solving the loop flow problem based on fuzzy set-genetic algorithm approach. Since our preliminary research results indicate that the form of the membership function (trapezoidal, exponential etc.) may have different results. Even the slope of a trapezoidal membership function has different effects. We will present the effect of different slopes, that of an exponential function, and that of a varying acceptable regions. We also present the effects of the bounds that can be determined by taking into account the operators experiences. |
