| Abstract | A novel DTC strategy on flying capacitor multilevel drives using all space vectors is proposed. With a 24-sector switching table, the torque ripple and rate of change of the applied voltages are reduced. To keep balance the capacitor voltages in a low switching frequency, an alternative algorithm selects the redundant vectors to cover all the required evolutions. DTC with Flying Capacitor Multilevel Inverter is simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK and the proposed balancing method is verified. The Analysis and Simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK confirm the performance of the proposed strategy. |
