Abstract

In this paper it is studied and analysed the effect of the wind farm in the dynamic voltage stability of an electric power network. In this study it was used a test power network. The Automatic Voltage Regulator of the generating units, the Under Load Tap Changer and loads were modelled. The simulation was carried out using the professional grade time domain simulation software package Eurostag. Finally, some conclusions that provide a better understanding of the composite load models in the voltage collapse phenomena are pointed out.
