| Abstract | Because of the complicated topology and operation process of high voltage variable frequency speed regulation system, the internal fault and abnormal condition were miscellaneous. Meanwhile, the original protection of large induction motor was not suitable under the variable frequency driving situation. Therefore, it is very necessary to design an comprehensive and systematic protection strategy for the speed regulation system. At first, this paper analyzed the features of internal fault and abnormal conditions. Based on the analysis, the paper designed an integrated protection strategy, which considerate to the accuracy and rapidity, to protect those faults. Through the dynamic simulation, the paper verified the accuracy and efficiency of the protection strategy. |
