| Abstract | This paper will report the design of a data acquisition platform which will be mounted on a 660kW VESTAS V47 wind turbine. Details of the data acquisition process will be given relating to the different sampling rates used by the various sensors and how this is translated into the requirement of three separate MYSQL databases recorded through a program developed in LABVIEW. The sensors and monitoring equipment used as well as the installation procedure involved will be presented and discussed. The monthly acquired data from the system will also be touched upon. |
